How to save a large file on diskettes?

Many of us face some problem when we want to copy a large file from one PC to another PC.
Few year ago, I have using one of the Winzip function that can save a large file on several diskettes. If I'm not wrong this function only available start from Winzip 7.0.
But as many people know, there is 99% that we cannot get back what ever we had save, and the Winzip only tell you that 'Error in CRC'. It really, really make us angry.
What do we do, we format our diskettes, go back to the original source and recopy all over again using the stupy program. But most of the time we will face the same problem over and over again.

So I have search for some here, then luckily I had found a very very useful software, calls FileSplitter.
The idea of this software is to cut the large file into small pieces that can be save into our small diskettes. I know that there is some other similar software, if I not wrong, it's call 'AxeMan'. But FileSplitter is much more simple and smaller that you can even save it on a floppy disk and bring it where ever you go.

It's work like Winzip?

No. By using Winzip, we have to recopy everything again. But using this software you only need to copy the defected disk or file again.

From the beginning of that moment, I only use this software to transfer my file. It work, even sometime I have to recopy again the defected file, but the chance that you fail second time is approximate 0.

You can download from here, even I didn't tell the author of this software that I'm putting his work on my site. But I think he will agree.
